Invest in Your Child's Future: Close the Gap
The Hebrew Academy Annual Fund was established to help close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a child at The Hebrew Academy. This next year, The Hebrew Academy’s annual operating budget will be nearly $1,200,000, with tuition income providing just 70% of the budget. The actual "gap" between tuition and the real cost of a Hebrew Academy education for the school year 2021-2022 is about $2,000 for each student. The annual support from parents and friends of the school is critical to closing our gap.
The Annual Fund supports the school as a whole and benefits each and every student, helping to meet the immediate needs for essential areas, such as financial aid, library books and systems, lab equipment, and support for the recruitment, recognition and retention of our outstanding faculty.
We encourage every family to participate in The Hebrew Academy Annual Fund each year at whatever level is comfortable. For some that is $1,800, for some it is $18. At The Hebrew Academy, we strive for 100% parent participation. We also ask you to check with the company for whom you work to see if they will match your gift, thereby increasing its value. All Annual Fund contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
