Dear Parents,

All children who are not transported to school by bus in the morning must arrive no later than 8:45AM.

Classes begin promptly at 8:50AM and the students need time to get to their classrooms and prepare themselves for class.

Any child who arrives after this time, will need a late note from the office in order to be admitted to class.

After three occurrences of lateness, a detention will be implemented for grades 1-7.

Any child who comes to school late because of a doctor's appointment, must have a note from the doctor, and that lateness will be excused.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Dear Families and Staff Members,

If you are interested in doing Kapparot, we will be doing them tonight, at Chabad, between 7:30 and 9pm.

Dear Parents,

Periodically, we receive health notices from the School District. We are forwarding this for your information:

Enteroviruses are very common viruses.

Most enterovirus infections occur during the summer and fall. There are no symptoms or only mild symptoms however the current strain of virus can cause severe respiratory illness in children especially those with asthma and other chronic respiratory conditions. This virus is transmitted through close contact with a person who is already infected with the virus and then touching one's mouth, nose, or eyes.

To help reduce the risk of this infection the following is recommended:

  • Individuals wash their hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching of eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid kissing, hugging and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when feeling sick.
  • Use the same precautions used to prevent the spread of influenza.

Symptoms include, but are not limited to, fever, runny nose, sneezing, coughing and body aches. Most infected individuals have no symptoms or only mild symptoms, but some infections can be serious.

If you or your child have any such symptoms please see a healthcare provider for accurate treatment and diagnosis.

If you have further questions please contact your family doctor.

Dear Parents

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Eating a healthy breakfast in the morning before school gives your children the energy needed to focus and participate in class.

Please make sure that your child has breakfast at home before coming to school.

Thank You.
