THE GREAT PARADE
AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED!
This year, Sunday, May 2nd – Lag B’omer, The Hebrew Academy will be attending the famous Lag B’omer Parade.
With world renowned singers and entertainers, special floats and marching bands, it promises to be the greatest one to date. A complete day of fun and excitement for all ages, and a projected attendance of 25,000 children and adults, will make this year’s Lag B’omer Parade the largest Jewish children’s event in recent history.
The event will begin in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, New York at 10:00 a.m. Hundreds of schools and groups from the tri-state area will participate in the fun-filled day. You have the option of travelling to the Parade with the school by hired bus. Immediately upon arrival, ushers will escort The Hebrew Academy parents and students to our pre-assigned seats. Special seating for the children and parents of The Hebrew Academy has been designated so that we can be seated together, eat lunch together and march together in the parade. The Hebrew Academy will march along in the parade waving our school banner.
For only $5 each child will receive their personal packet, including drinks, light refreshments and their very own beautifully designed Lag B’omer t-shirt. There will be raffles for amazing prizes, including a free helicopter ride, Nintendo Wiis, a valuable set of Jewish books and more. You may also pre-order lunch, hot dog and a drink, at $2.50 per person or you may purchase it for the same price at the Parade.
Fantastic interactive concert with Avraham Fried, Lipa Schmeltzer, and Mordechai Ben David, the biggest names in Jewish music today, are joining together in concert for the first time in history, to entertain the crowd.
