HOLD THE DATE!
Every day is Mother's Day but the CECC will be celebrating with a special Collaborative Challah Baking session + Mother's Day Brunch on Friday, May 9, 2014. The program will begin at 9:45 am sharp and will conclude at approximately 11:15 am.
If you will not be able to attend, you may send another female relative or caregiver the child knows well.
Please R.S.V.P. if you will be able to attend.

Due to the inclement weather school is closed today, Friday, March 8, 2013, for all classes, Nursery - 8th Grade
Dear Parents:
Monday is fast approaching. An exciting activity is planned -- Math Night!! Mark your calendars for Monday, March 4th. Math Night will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the
Shul. There will be games galore to play, a special performance by The Hebrew Academy Choir, and refreshments will be sold.
Students who attend Math Night will be exempt from doing their homework!
The children have been busy trying to help their less fortunate brethren in Eretz Yisrael and doing a great job!!
So far they have collected $735.34 !!!
There are still ONE more day left! This is a fantastic way to fulfill one of the mitzvot of Purim: Matanot La'evyonim - monetary gifts to the poor. Please send in all monies by TOMORROW Friday, February 22, 2013, the latest.
The children will select prizes based on how much they bring in. We have been informed that the prizes should arrive by the end of next week.

The Hebrew Academy is gearing up for Purim. Please encourage your child to be part of it and get into the Purim spirit. All students (Nursery - 8th Grade) and staff come to school on:
- Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 is FUNNY HAT DAY!
- Thursday, February 21, 2013, is FUNNY GLASSES DAY!
- Friday, February 22, 2013, is FUNNY SOCK DAY
- Monday, February 25, 2013, is Shushan PuRiM. Please send your child to school in Purim Costume. A special Shushan Purim Fun Program will be held for Nursery - 8th Grades.
REMINDER: There is no school on Monday, February 18, 2013, President's Day, and Tuesday, February, 19, 2013, Teacher Inservice Day. School resumes as usual for all classes Nursery - 8th Grades on Wednesday, February 20 2013.

Dear Parents,
Today, Friday, February 8, 2013, school will begin and end as usual for all grades, Nursery - 8th Grades. We have been notified by the East Ramapo School District that transportation will be as usual.
Update:
We have just been advised that East Ramapo School District will be picking up the children from school today, Friday, February 8, 2013, at 12:30 pm.
Dismissal for Chabad Early Childhood Center is at 12:30 pm.

Dear Parents,
Due to worsening weather conditions East Ramapo has advised us that they will be picking up the students at 1:30 pm today, Monday, January 28, 2013.
School will be closed at 1:30 pm today for all classess, including Chabad Early Childhood Center classes.
If you are picking up your child, please check the weather in case the weather worsens earlier.

Due to inclement weather, there will be a delayed opening for school today, Wednesday, January 16, 2013. The buses are running on a two hour delay.
The Chabad Early Childhood Center will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Kindergarten - 8th Grade will begin at 10: 45 a.m. Please ensure students of these grades daven before they come to school.

Winter break is from January 21 through January 25. School will resume as usual, G-d willing, on Monday, January 28, 2013.
