Preschool will be planting tomorrow with Mr. Ilan Weizman, with support from Mrs. Alison Reiser. Please make sure to have your child at Preschool promptly at 9:30 am so he/she doesn't miss out!

Dear Parents,

Grandparents Day has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2014. (Originally scheduled for November 5).

You will be receiving a note requesting your child's grandparents' postal information. Please complete the form and return to school by Monday, November 3, 2014.

The students will address the invitation for Grandparents Day and the school will post the invite. Please submit the information for both maternal and paternal grandparents.

You can invite a special guest such as an uncle, aunt, etc. should the child not have a grandparent not be able to attend.

Your children are slowly settling in to their new classes. It will take a few days till your child feels totally comfortable but the Preschool Morot are warm and caring and already loving your child. RE-ADJUSTMENT OF SCHEDULE!

We apologize for changing the time AGAIN! but we have been experiencing some difficulty with scheduling due to several programs running at the same time elsewhere in the school. Dear Preschool Parents,

If you wish you may send Mishloach Manot with your child for his/her classmates provided:

  • there is one sent for every child in the class
  • they all look the same
  • it adheres to the guidelines of the attached Kosher Guidelines.

In addition, the preschoolers will be making their own Mishloach Manot to take home and will also be exchanging Mishloach Manot made in class as an educational exercise.

Chabad Early Childhood Center

Dear Parents:

The Chabad Early Childhood Center will be going on an end-of-year trip on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, to World of Wings in Teaneck, NJ. The Museum and Atrium at World of Wings gives students an opportunity to take a closer look at the variety of unique and exotic butterflies, moths, and reptiles that populate our complex world.

With hands on demonstrations, live reptile shows, and guided museum tours, World of Wings is guaranteed to keep young minds engaged and active. The entry fee is $10 per child and $11 per adult.

We will be transporting the children and leaving school at 9:45 am and will be back in school around 2 pm. Parents are welcome to accompany their child using their own transportation.

Please ensure that you provide a car seat/booster for your child.

Chabad Early Childhood Center

Dear CECC Parents,

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in one week, on Wednesday everning, November 28, 2012, from 6:30 pm. Although many parents talk with the teachers every day, the Parent Teacher Conferences are more involved. Your child's teacher will discuss different areas pertaining to your child's development in areas such as self care, social development, emotional growth, work habits, Language and Writing skills in both Judaic and Secular Studies, Math skills, Science and Social Studies knowledge and fine and gross motor development.

Appointments will be for 10 minute increments. Please reply to this email or call the school office to make your appointment as soon as possible. Should you not be able to contact the front office, please leave a message on my extension at 845-634-0951 x109

Dear CECC (Chabad Early Childhood Center) Parents,

Preschool has gotten off to such a great start and the children look so happy! To make things easier for you at pick up time we have a pickup routine:

For pickup on Mondays - Thursdays:

The CECC children will be ready to be picked up from 3:20 - 3:30 pm. All you have to do is drive up to the front of school and not park your car. We will bring your child out to the entrance as soon as we see you drive up. Please do not leave your car when you do this as the traffic must be able to continue. If you wish to leave your car, please park it in the lot. Children who are not picked up by 3:30 pm will be sent to Aftercare and charges will apply.

We do have Aftercare available. The rates are attached.

For pickup on Fridays:

The CECC children will be ready to be picked up from 1:10 - 1:15 pm. You may drive up to the front of school and not park your car. We will bring your child out to the entrance as soon as we see you drive up. Please make sure your car is not left in front of the school from 1:20 pm as the school busses need to be there from then to pick up the older students.
