Dismissal on May 13th

Written by

Grades Kindergarten through 8th Grades will be dismissed tomorrow at 1:30 pm. Please follow the Friday schedule.

School will resume as usual on Friday, May 17, 2013.

We encourage all families, men, women and children, to hear the Aseret Hadibrot read in shul on the first day of Shavuot, Wednesday, May 15, 2014.

Have a wonderful Yom Tov!

Dear Parents,

The Hebrew Academy very much appreciates the hospitality of the Rosenbaum Family and the hands on tour they provide each year to our students of their well tended backyard with goats, chickens and ducks. Amongst the many things they learn, the children also learn about kosher animals, the importance of kindness to animals and how to care for them.

After the heavy local media coverage of the kidnapping Pelegrina two weeks ago, and her recent miraculous return, the village now wants to take her away from them. Please vote to help us keep Pelegrina and her friends at home where they belong!

Mommy & Me Recap - Week 1

Written by

Dear Parents,

The first week of Mommy & Me was amazing! The children thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the program as can plainly be seen by the expressions on their faces. Learning about our beloved Land Israel with Morah Ayelet was the perfect theme to start with. Next week's theme will be Lag B'Omer and Ahavat Yisrael (loving your neighbor as yourself).

See this link for today's photos!

Please let your friends know about this fantastic program and direct any interest to Mrs. Perline (845) 634-0951

All the best,
Mrs. Perline
