Snow Closings or Delays - take note of the new time
Written by The Hebrew AcademySCHOOL CLOSINGS OR DELAYS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Dear Parents,
Please contact the following for information on whether school will be open, closed or delayed. This applies for all grades: Toddler through 8th Grade. If there is a 2 hour delay all classes, from Toddler through 8th Grade, will begin at 10:45 am.
All students from Grades 4 – 8 should daven at home.
Our decision to open, delay or close the school is based primarily on what the East Ramapo School District
decides. If this district is closed or delayed, The Hebrew Academy follows the same.
For cancellation information or delayed openings:
- Check online at www.cancellations.com and search for The Hebrew Academy in the 10956 area after 7:30 am.
- Call school at 845 634 0951 after 7:30 am for message.
- Call Infophone 845 577 6565 from 6:15 am Listen to radio stations WLIR (AM 1300) or WHUD (FM 100.7)
Dear Parents,
The theme for the next two weeks in Preschool is Community Helpers.
There are many kinds of people who make up our community and work to make it successful. That's where you, Dear Parents, come in! We have, among our Toddler class, parents working in various fields such as: Chefs, social workers, teachers and others.
Would you be willing to come in for a short time to visit the class and explain/show/discuss with the children your profession and what you do? If you can, please call Mrs. Perline at 845 634 0951 ext. 109.
Thank you so much!
