Class Parents

Written by

Dear Parents,

Would you like to help your child and his/her class at the same time? Here's your opportunity! We are in need of Class Parents. Thank you to Mrs. Silverman and Mrs. Storch of the Kindergarten and PreK classes respectively for volunteering to be Class Parents.

What's involved?

Class Parent Responsibilities:

Each class has at least one class parent. The class parent serves as a liaison between the classroom teachers and the parents. The responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting your grade-level teacher. This may include volunteering for or finding volunteers for field trips, planning and arranging school social events (i.e. year-end picnic, etc.)
  2. Supporting school events, such as the Purim Baskets, etc. by volunteering or finding volunteers from your class.
  3. Assist with implementing teacher's token of appreciation and teacher's gift (as appropriate).
  4. Attend PTA meetings

If you would like to become a class parent, please Contact the office.

Thank you for your support of our children
