For Current (Re-Enrolling) Families | For New (Applicant) Families
The Hebrew Academy is committed to making its Financial Aid Program available to all families who seek a Jewish education for their children. This has been one of the core values of our institution since its founding, and it remains a priority today. To that goal, we encourage any family to apply for financial aid who feels cost is a significant barrier to their child’s being able to attend our school.
The Financial Aid Program is overseen by Our School’s Tuition Committee. All applications and financial information are handled confidentially. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its financial aid program.
Our School’s admissions decisions are need-blind and are not influenced by a family’s financial situation.
Financial aid is granted on an annual basis, for the coming academic year only. All families wishing to be considered for financial aid must complete a new application each year so that our Tuition Committee may evaluate their financial aid award(s) on the basis of their most current financial picture.
Please see the links above for instructions and deadlines specific to new (applicant) families or current (re-enrolling) families.

At The Hebrew Academy, we teach our kids to think differently. We encourage them to interpret, to reason and see the world in every aspect of their learning. We offer unmatched academics for grades Toddler - 8th, supported by cutting edge technology, engaging activities – and exceptional teachers who nurture and challenge every child.
That’s The Hebrew Academy difference. A superior Jewish day school education, infused with academics, warmth and life, Midot Tovot and values.
The Hebrew Academy is committed to making Jewish education accessible to families regardless of their economic situation. In these unique financial times we appreciate the sacrifices parents are making in choosing to give their children a Jewish day school education.
To make the one-of-kind Hebrew Academy experience more affordable and within reach of families at all levels of financial ability, we offer two personalized tuition affordability programs to help parents give their children the best Jewish day school education.
The Hebrew Academy’s Tuition Affordability Programs:
• Discover Hebrew Academy Grant is for families new to our school with children entering any grade PreK - 6. This grant is for $1,000 for new families, for the first year of enrollment. A limited number of grants are available on a first come, first serve basis. Families applying for Traditional Financial Aid are not eligible for this grant. To download the Discover Hebrew Academy Grant application form Discover The Hebrew Academy.
•Traditional Financial Aid is for families, new and current, who cannot meet the full tuition obligation and who need the maximum possible reduction.
Decisions to provide assistance are strictly based on the family's financial need. Need is defined as the difference between the family's resources and the student's educational expenses. Financial aid awards are granted for tuition only and do not cover other mandatory school fees. Financial Aid decisions are made independently of admission decisions, and does not affect in any way an applicant's chance for admission.
Any family who feel they need funding to afford the cost of Jewish Day School education is encouraged to apply to the Traditional Financial Aid program.
Please note that financial assistance is not available for Toddler or Nursery, and only a few limited grants are available for Pre-K.
