Open House

Our "First Wednesday" Open Houses enable perspective families to experience The Hebrew Academy in action. Parents have the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet with our outstanding faculty and administration, and talk with fellow parents and Hebrew Academy students. Open House hours are from 11am until 1:30 PM.

Hebrew Academy Open House dates for the 2010-2011 school year are as follows:

Prospective students are strongly encouraged to spend a day at The Hebrew Academy. They will be matched with a current Hebrew Academy student and experience a typical school day from first period through the end of the day. Please call the School Office at least one week in advance to arrange a student visit. Students are welcome to visit during any day of the week.

Visit Our Campus

The Hebrew Academy is conveniently located in New City, New York.

Students enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings at our award-winning facility. Outside, our students play on our large field and state-of- the-art playground. The new school building  opened February 2008,  and features a roomy atmosphere with large classrooms, synagogue, auditorium, libraries, art room, science lab, gym and computer lab.

As an integral part of the Jewish community, enjoys a broad-based support throughout Rockland County.

We are located at 315 N. Main Street, New City, NY, 10956.

From the Palisades Parkway North:
Take Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road), turn right onto New Hempstead Road, proceed 2 miles to Main Street, make a left and go 1.25 miles to just past the intersection of Phillips Hill Road and Main Street. Make left into the 1^st driveway on left and bear right to the parking lot.
