Poems by Kayla Shatkin:
Under star light I would take a star,
I don't know why—it's a very fun thing to do!
I can go sky hunting,
And even go running!
It would be fun to be in outer space,
It is a wonderful place!
Kayla’s planet
A beautiful sight
Turns around slowly
Under star light
Rivers flow
Near our delight!
Poems by: Aviel Ratson:
My planet is Jupiel,
It turns and turns.
The stars surround it like a king's guard.
It looks like a cookie ready to fall!
Jupiel is like a giant cookie,
Unedible, though tempting to eat.
Personally, I'd like to go see it and if it's edible
It might taste good 'cause now I'll see.
Edible it is not I wish it was,
Laughing, I said, “ I wish it wasn't a dream.”
My planet looks like a cookie ready to fall,
If you look at another angle it looks like a ball.
I went to live there and met a brown hare.
Though it was mild I made friends with a child,
He was more kind than his friend right behind.
I told him I had to go away,
He said tomorrow I'll meet him by the bay.
Poems by Sruly Kotlarsky:
Serptune is my name
Efficiently easy to live on
Radical in its form
Pluto is my neighbor
Thirteen moons Serptune has
Uranus is my other neighbor
Neptune has three rings
Each probe never reached me except for Voyager
Serptune
Though my neighbors are pretty near,
I never go too close.
For Uranus is too hot,
And Pluto is too cold.
Gnomes climb on my spacious mountains,
Where there are no homes.
My very spacious mountains.
Yes, my beautiful gnomes.
The people there aren't nice,
They're very hostile.
But since they have no eyes,
They end up in a pile.
Poems by Rafi Feig:
Meraphy is awesome
Excellently round
Round but bumpy
A great place for a suntan
Perfectly cool
Hot to the touch
Yes, I flew to Meraphy!
Meraphy is so good
Just like it should
From winter to fall
It's the best place for all!
